Safety and sexuality are directly interlinked.
Early—humans and pre-humans decided who they mated with depending on how safe they felt.
For men to have an erection, we need to feel safe, our nervous system needs to regulate.
Having worked with clients fantasies for years, I have seen that most of the time, in our sexual fantasies, we are also seeking safety.
But when we fantasize about being bound, rạped, or other actions that might seem unsafe, for instance, are we really seeking safety there too?
The short answer is, yes.
