MODULE 1 ASSIGNMENT DETAILS

The initiation into the mystery school was always a gruelling and highly challenging experience. These often included wild animals and processes such as snake handling which had the potential to be deadly.

In the assignment for this initial session, participants will be invited to come up with their own arduous experience.

This programme invites participants to enter a a process of death, which will give way to a gestation process of 9 months which will lead the way to a rebirth.
Therefore, the initiation will take the form of a funeral eulogy.

Every participant will have 10 minutes for their participation, which can include sharing a summary of the life they have lead, the key learnings experienced. It can also include what they are ready to leave behind, and what they will take with them to the following life as well as some intention-setting.

Each participant is invited to include an element that will make the eulogy initiation particularly challenging.
For instance, this can take the form of sharing something deeply difficult that has never been shared before, sharing something highly personal, revealing a part of oneself, exposing a part of oneself which we are not necessarily proud of.
It could even be simply getting physically naked for others to see, wearing a costume that has a deep meaning, or something other.

This initiation is not compulsory, but is highly recommended. Each participant can decide how challenging and gruelling they let this initiation be.
It is also possible to keep this to a basic sharing of our journey to this programme and the intention we wish to set.

In my personal experience, however, I have often found that the more gruelling initiations bring about the best results.
