The sacred intimacy and somatic sexuality course is composed of 3 distinct course modules.
It offers an educational framework teaching a complete set of skills relating to a somatic approach to sex and intimacy.
It is also an informal mentoring training offering a sacred space for the participant's own teachings to come through.
It recognises that every participant has unique desires and needs, and also unique gifts to share with the world in their own way.
It also recognises that the way to hold space for others is by holding space for ourselves first.
Participants can decide to take each course module individually, or combine all three of them to create a facilitator track.
Students choosing the facilitator track will need to supplement the course with a series of individual mentoring sessions.
The number of sessions and the amount of time will vary depending on student needs.
Somatic refers to the soma (ie: the living body).
It refers to our ability to inhabit our body, to be present and to experience all life through our felt sense.
This includes our responses to circumstances and our ability to access healing resources.
Somatic sexuality refers to our ability to healing sexual issues by finding wholeness in the body.
