While the orgy tends to be depicted as highly hedonistic and even shameful in our modern times, our ancestors had a very different idea. For thousands of years sexuality was used by history’s most influential and respected civilisations as a sacred practice for transformation and growth. The word orgy actually comes from the Greek word orgia, which was defined as a sacred rite and ritual in which a group gathered to connect to divine forces. This practice was a part of the ancient Mystery Schools of Greece, which helped initiates reach their highest potential.

This workshop uses energetic transmission and spontaneous movement to reconnect us to this ancient primordial philosophy and explore our highest sacred nature.

ABOUT MARC

London and Barcelona-based shaman Marc Peridis began exploring tantra and somatic movement therapy in 2010. In 2014, he was initiated into shamanism and began holding ceremonies at sacred sites around the world.
